Fellowships are paid on the last working day of the month and normally begin in September. Assistantships are paid on the 25th of each month beginning in September.
- Do I have to pay taxes on my fellowship?
Fellowships are taxable with the exclusion of tuition and fees, books and equipment. Any amount you receive not used for these categories is reportable as income.
