RCR - Other Approved Training

While the Graduate School provides centralized training via GS310 (RCR Orientation) and GS311 (ongoing RCR Forums), we fully support any RCR related training initiatives led by various departments, programs, or campus centers.  We request that any faculty or staff who plan or develop RCR-type training initiatives [guest speakers on research ethics, specialized training in relation to a campus center, etc.] coordinate that event with the Graduate School.  It is important for the Graduate School to review other RCR-type training events proposed in order to review program content and quality, and to determine whether it is should receive official Graduate School RCR credit for PhD students who participate.

IF you would like the Graduate School to review any upcoming RCR-type training events, please follow the instructions below in the "Procedure to Request Credit Approval for RCR Training Events" and submit the form ("Request for Credit Approval of RCR Training Event") to the Associate Dean at least 5 working days prior to the event.
